THE KEY COMPONENTS OF
A LONG-LASTING ROOF SYSTEM.
A good roof system and its life cycle are made up of three crucial components. 1) Good design 2) Careful choice of products and materials and 3) Strong craftsmanship of the installation of those materials.
None of these components can be repaired after a roof is installed. Firstly, we can't change the design of a building if the design of the building is a source of problems. If the roof incorporates some sort of esthetic treatment or even rises above a courtyard, it must at least do its job properly and be designed to withstand the effects of the elements over the expected life cycle. Secondly, we can't change the choice of building materials the roof is made of. Thirdly, we can't make amends to the craftsmanship after the roof has been installed. The only way to make repairs to one or all three is to start over again. Unfortunately, it's an incredibly sensitive topic of discussion for some, especially if the roof hasn't even come close to the end of its expected service life or another roofing company has made repairs promising several more years of weather protection. Simply put, poor craftsmanship cannot be repaired. These 3 factors are the basis of why we do what we do.
